Privacy Policy — Vista SEO: Alt & Meta

Who we are

Vista by Lara (“we”, “us”) provides the Vista SEO: Alt & Meta app for Shopify merchants.

Data we access

• Products & media: product titles, images, and existing ALT text
• SEO fields: product SEO title and description

We do not require customer PII (names, emails, addresses) to provide core functionality.

Why we access data

• To display your products and associated images in the app UI
• To update image ALT text and product SEO fields when you request it
• To measure app performance in aggregate (non-personal analytics)

Storage & retention

We store minimal configuration/session data necessary for the app to operate. Product content is fetched from Shopify when you use the app. We retain operational logs for up to 90 days for security and debugging, then delete or anonymize them.

Security

• Transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS)
• Data at rest encryption where supported by our hosting providers
• Least-privilege internal access and access logging

Sharing

We use standard subprocessors (e.g., Shopify APIs, hosting/CDN providers) to deliver the service. We do not sell customer data.

Your choices

• You can uninstall the app at any time to revoke access
• Contact us to request deletion of app-side logs related to your shop
